I cannot imagine the pain and suffering he went through trying to finish filming that series when he was so very ill. He should not have put himself through that. Right now I am in agony with broken ribs for the last week, which seems to be getting worse and from experience, I know that that pain will be there for at least six weeks. Third bout of broken ribs in 20 months. This one is the worst. Horrible. Impossible to get comfortable, awful pain, can’t sleep, nauseated, painkillers don’t work. When I watched this vid and learned that Patric continued working on strenuous action scenes with things like broken bones, and the exhaustion and agony of Pancreatic cancer, I cringed at the thought of what he was going through for months. Seeing his suffering, made me feel nauseated and heartsick in sympathy. What an incredibly strong and stoic man he was. This has made me even more terrified of cancer, knowing that I don’t have the stoicism and resistance to pain that he did.

Lesson learned. Be very carefull with any medication perscribed or not. Trust your bodies and your doctors . If you have a low to mild fever DON;T overdo it with antipiretics and stuff . Let your body handle it. AND for GODS SAKE if you get worse GOO TO THE HOSPITAL

You make a great case. I don't think that he intended to commit suicide. I think he took the tablets because he was speeding and desperately wanted sleep, and he was impaired with alcohol so didn't consider 9 too many. His life was in a mess though - his dodgy in debt manager having life insurance on Jimi who wanted to leave him when he would be worth more dead than alive and his shirt was apparently drenched in alcohol (although this may have happened just from general spillages during the party that evening). That great poem/lyrics was beautiful and seemed to foretell his own death that perhaps he knew was right around the corner.
